I have excellent interpersonal skills and can build rapport with staff and pupils quickly. This is something I can bring to your department, I This shows me how important rapport and interpersonal skills are for this faculty to thrive. I am a diligent team player. During SLT reconstruction I temporarily took charge of the department ensuring a 5-year SOW was ready – lesson plans consistent with school policy and organisation of extra curriculars were in place. Since having a new head of department, I have been supporting with the induction of the role before officially passing over all head of department tasks. As a KS3 Music teacher, I also support in the adaptation of lesson plans to meet all student’s needs as well as supporting in extra-curricular events, such as supporting in the running of a composition workshop with external composers. At Alsager School, I will be able to support both the Drama and Music department; as well as take a forward role in the planning of extra curriculars.
