In my Student Ambassador role I further developed my confidence in public speaking by delivering University presentations to school groups aged from year 6 to year 12. Across these presentations, I tailored the information to the audiences age and interests. Across these presentations, I was able to deliver information with charisma to improve audience engagement and minimise crowd distraction across all ages.

As the President of UoN Motorsports in 2022 I helped organise, manage and run the University Engineering Ball. On the night of the event, I spoke in front of the 350 members of the multi-disciplinary Engineering cohort. My experience leading a university club improved my public speaking confidence and ability to address and control large boisterous crowds.

In 2022 NU Racing shifted focus towards developing processes to ensure efficient execution of the 16 local and interstate test days completed by the team. My scope was achieved through establishing Driver and Test Day Programs to help develop a standard across all parties on how to work cohesively at competition.Aside from my thesis scope I actively led sponsorship procurement by contacting and networking with external stakeholders and establishing business partnerships to raise capital and improve the teams R&D capabilities. The funding I raised amounted to an additional 22% of the annual team budget. NU Racing at the 2022 Formula SAE as a group achieved 4th position in Australasia, the best result in the team’s 20 year history.
