Assembly and design of cryogenic refrigerators. My role is multidisciplinary in that I am responsible for managing current and future projects in assembly and assisting commissioning and troubleshooting in research and development.

• Identify fault and missing components interconnecting equipment wiring to ensure proper function during plant startup• Advise and assist contractors with difficult troubleshooting of control system• Utilize measurement equipment to calibrate devices in the field• Fill out and sign off tracking paperwork and submit to database• Discover and coordinate additional construction work to be completed to other contracted electrical companies• Coordinate site visits with equipment vendor representatives and work with them to ensure equipment is functioning to their specifications• Participate in live lockout program safe energy isolation/testing• Create, Organize, and Modify Excel documents/spreadsheets to present information to contractors and other members on my team, as well as tracking and transferring information to other software/tracking database

At The Edmonton Branch for Enerkem Biofuels, I had the opportunity working on new technology with many exciting opportunities to learn. Part of the maintenance team providing full coverage so the plant had less downtime. My tasks involved commissioning the second phase of the plant, troubleshooting/servicing equipment, and dismantling and servicing devices that require cleaning or replacement.
