As Sales Director of Software Solutions for Aclara, I am dedicated to working with utilities of all sizes in the Northeast to understand their business challenges and uncover solutions through Aclara's software solutions that enable our customers to succeed. In this role I'll service customers who require solutions in the broad categories of Consumer Engagement, Behavior Programs, Energy Efficiency Programs, Fault Detection and Localization, Water Management/Revenue Protection, and other solutions enabled through our AclaraONE and Aclara ACE platforms. -Self-cultivated leads, qualified prospects, and converted to opportunities to build pipeline in territory -Outlined sales strategy for accounts, identifying key stakeholders and buyers, and leading execution of strategy -Orchestrated and negotiated partnership opportunities with companies that provided complementary solutions to jointly respond to RFPs, where necessary -Managed contract negotiations between with customer legal depts, facilitating the execution of several agreements, and fulfillment of purchase orders -Studied regulatory filings to ensure the solutions we've proposed will meet/exceed utility obligations to their energy efficiency plans
