My first priority as a Duty Manager at the Aquadome was safety on site including regular training in emergency resuscitation, maintenance of emergency equipment, and ensuring lifeguard vigilance. I was also responsible for pool operations such as ensuring water quality through water testing, chemical balancing, routine super chlorination, backwashing and regeneration of filters. Finally as a duty manager I would be leading all staff on site including customer service, lifeguards, and the health club.
