Calgary Police Service - Arrest Processing SectionAppointed as Team Second-in-Command (2IC), working with the Team Corporal overseeing duties of seven Arrest Processing Officers.Training and mentorship of new personnel and liaison with the Duty Staff Sergeant and Duty Sergeant to manage day-to-day operations.Receive and book-in arrestees from Calgary Police Service patrol officers and partner agencies, entering biographical information and arrest into Sentry (NICHE) Records Management System.Conduct searches of detainees for weapons, evidence, contraband, and means of escape. Search and inventory personal property. Prepare Notes and Will States for Charge Packages where appropriate.Monitor and ensure the safety and welfare of detainees through continuous CCTV monitoring and physical cell checks conducted every 15 minutes.
