While working in Farran’s Construction was in the tier 3 of the technical support model which meant I encountered many tasks. These have included resetting users passwords, unlocking accounts, rebuilding broken computers with both software and hardware problems, assisting users with calls they had been logged on the site help desk, answering phones, setting up users to the printers they have requested, creating new user accounts, installing new software, giving out new hardware to users, supplying sites with hardware (printers, plotter, computers, dongles, routers, cameras an monitors). Going to sites to set up internet connections and connect the users to printers and plotters, fixing email problems, recreating virtual desktop accounts, giving users access to certain network drives, visiting the offices over in Scotland and England and attending conference’s. I also had to attended training courses for my CSR Safety card, core management skills, team building and construction skills and have used the company’s phone system to assign users a phone number and assigning a security key to users using the RSA Security Console.

While working in the restaurant/bar I had many tasks. These included stocking the stockrooms and bar, maintaining the cleanliness of the bars for other staff and for the public’s satisfaction, waiting on tables, provided drink and food etc. I was responsible for the opening and closing of the restaurant/bar and worked within a team to set up for functions. I had to communicate with the other workers to make sure that everybody was doing their job and to see if anyone needed assistance.
