Hi there! 👋 Here’s a quick intro about me:I’m mildly obsessed with business growth, problem-solving, and marketing—passions I’ve been fortunate enough to turn into a career.As the Marketing Director at Mammoth, I’m lucky to be in a position where I thrive. My main focus has been developing strategies that capitalize on untapped verticals, effectively building a moat around our core business by creating complementary services for homeowners. It’s challenging, but it’s the type of thing I find fun. It also helped us achieve over a 100% year-over-year growth trajectory during the last three years.In my free time, I focus on Therapedia, software designed to automate clinical notes using transcription, AI, and AWS (HIPAA compliant), helping mental health professionals reduce administrative burdens. For real-time transcription, we leverage AWS Transcribe for streaming, Lambda functions for event processing, EC2 for scalable compute power, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for AI refinement. Encryption is ensured through AWS KMS, keeping everything secure and compliant. This project has been fun to create and allowed me to figure out a new skill set for raising money. Again, I was lucky to have AWS participate by granting us a generous initial startup credit. I’ve honed these skills through plenty of trial and error, which I believe is the fastest way to learn—especially what not to do. My years in the Army sharpened my leadership, public speaking, and programming abilities by providing me with an endless amount of education, with the added bonus of flying around in helicopters and firing cannons! And that’s just plain fun.
