I currently work as a DevSecOps Engineer at Wavestrike LLC, with a heavy focus on Kubernetes administration and design, as well automation and general system administration. I hold active CNCF certifications as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator as well as Certified Kubernetes Application Developer. I graduated from Frostburg State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and again in 2014 with a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science.I'm a techie and a tinkerer at heart, and spend a good amount of my downtime on my laptop experimenting with new and exciting tools and technologies from the open source community in order to find new capabilities and management tools that will benefit the projects I work on. In a professional setting I approach every challenge with thorough analysis, formulate simple but effective solutions, and do not consider the job done until it has been tested and verified complete to a level I can personally stand behind. I take customer and team feedback very seriously, and am always willing to incorporate suggestions into my solutions, especially when others point out things that I hadn't even considered relevant. I'm always open to new challenges, and see them as exciting opportunities to grow within the technical space.
