- Operate thermal transfer and laser jet printers to produce barcode labels according to production schedules and quality standards- Prepare and calibrate printers for different types of labels and materials. Ensure proper alignment, temperature settings, and ink/toner levels- Inspect printed labels for clarity, alignment, and adherence to specifications. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the accuracy of barcodes and overall print quality- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment. Replace parts, clean machines, and address minor repairs as needed to minimize downtime- Monitor and manage inventory levels of printing supplies, including labels, ribbons, and toners. Place orders for replenishment as required- Maintain accurate records of print jobs, inventory usage, and equipment maintenance- Ensure all printed labels comply with industry standards and company requirements.
