Responsible for the strategic planning, R&D, new product development, and commercialization of the Nucleic Acid Solutions business which includes specimen collection and sample preparation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Research & Development:Direct R&D personnel and projects pertaining to nucleic acid purification and specimen collection. Investigated new directions and developed the general plan and approach for creating innovative technologies. Grow and mentor team members.Marketing:Develop marketing goals and strategies to achieve those goals.Direct a team of product managers for strategic marketing, campaign development, content development, product launch execution, digital marketing, traditional marketing, market positioning, and product/portfolio branding.Analytics-driven decision making based on customer feedback, customer data, technical support, market research, and campaign specific measurements to create and adapt programs to achieve effective sales. Examine and implement strategies for applications of nucleic acid purification and analysis technologies in various industries. Engage and build relations with key opinion leaders (scientists, companies, and institutions)Gain an understanding of researchers’ needs and future directions within specific fields and applications. Clarify the voice of customer (VOC).Develop and implement sales training of distributors and internal staff to enable education of customers.
