Since 2014 I have been in the landscaping industry. Working along side stone masons, gardeners, and irrigation technicians, I found a passion for hard work and seeing customers reactions to their dream homes coming to fruition. I worked with a small residential landscape construction company for 6 years, learning the industry under a master builder and stone mason. With them, I have developed skills in stone masonry, carpentry, excavation, concrete work, and managing projects. My degree has provided me with a strong foundation in Business Management in which I seek to build upon within the professional world. In August 2020, I enrolled in a “Construction Cost Estimating” class through Columbia University. In addition to my educational background, I am a very motivated individual, possessing strong verbal and written communications skills along with leadership abilities all of which have been obtained through my time spent leading school projects and working with customers. Above all, I feel that my strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt are major assets that serve to benefit me in any field or career that I wish to pursue.I started with Natureworks Landscape in April of 2020 as a craftsman and soon took up the role of a foreman in the enhancements division. After a year in enhancements, I moved to a foreman position in design/build in March of 2021 and have excelled there since. I face adversity with a “can-do” attitude and am willing to search for solutions no matter how out-of-the box they may seem. I am a problem solver and a very quick learner. My experience with Natureworks includes, but is not limited to, landscape operations, horticulture, stone masonry, irrigation installation and maintenance, time management, heavy equipment operating, project budgeting, and daily job planning.
