Worked in our special projects team to bid/estimate new projects with less than one million dollars in scope. Assembled general conditions cost for the project in addition to soliciting the project with local subcontractors to drum up bidding interest. Performed detailed review of drawings prior to bid including blueing of the drawings and using PlanSwift to perform take offs. Review subcontractors bids/proposals for completeness on bid day to submit the lowest, most complete number for the job.Following award of project, worked with owner/owners rep on contract negotiation and finalization of the construction contract. Wrote and assembled contracts for selected subcontractors. After start of construction, worked with internal construction team, architect/design team and owner to foster a collaborative team environment for construction. In addition to performing project engineer duties such as managing submittals, material procurement, RFI's, etc. review, generation and submittal of project change orders to owner and architect for review and approval.
