Assisted the management accounts team with various different tasks. I have touched on many different parts of the management accountants responsibilities Some include: accurate reporting, billing, posting journals, wip movements, using the accruals concept correctly, training non finance oriented staff members.I also have experience working within the Purchase and Sales ledger team gaining considerable experience in most aspects of the operations team. Credit control, raising sales invoices, posting of receipts, regular bank reconciliations, making different types of payments and dealing with internal/external general finance queries. Working across the two teams has allowed me to broaden my knowledge in both aspects of the finance function and understand how a successful finance department is run in a large organisation.
