I have received education in the law enforcement field since my junior year of high school. In high school, I was in the Law Enforcement Tech Prep Program where we learned different aspects of policing and the criminal justice field. In this class, I received hands on training regarding fingerprinting, CPR, and room searches. I graduated Shippensburg University in May of 2017 with a 3.081 GPA. At Shippensburg University, I took a variety of classes from Theories of Crime to Mental Health in the Criminal Justice System. I have two summers of law enforcement experience in Ocean City as a Public Safety Aide and in Rehoboth Beach as a Seasonal Patrolman. Each of these jobs had seasonal academies accompanied with them. With these academies, I have been certified in baton, handcuffing, CPR, EVOC, Criminal Justice Information Systems, and pepper spray.
