I am an attorney and Foreign Legal Consultant at Lake Law Group, LLC, based in the Greater Denver Area. My expertise includes advising companies, athletes, and entertainers on legal matters, such as forming new startup companies, commercial transactions, intellectual property rights, and sports/entertainment-specific transactions. I am passionate about helping my clients navigate complex legal issues to achieve their goals. With a J.D., LL.M., and MBA in law and business, I am equipped to be a long-term partner to my clients.Throughout my career, I have held significant roles at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee and a prominent firm in Denver. My experience includes working on MLB salary arbitration cases, motion picture deals, sponsorship agreements, and broadcasting rights, as well as serving as U.S. Counsel and a foreign legal consultant to the Canadian Women’s Hockey League and General Counsel to the American Collegiate Hockey Association.On the academic front, I have pursued studies at Cornell University, the University of Denver, Loyola University School of Law, St. John’s University Law School, and Queens University in Canada. Additionally, I serve as an adjunct professor at the University of Denver and St. John’s University School of Law, teaching sports, entertainment, and business law. Throughout my time at Campbell, I have worked extensively with corporate and financial clients. I provided various services, including general counsel services, intellectual property protection, corporate governance, and deal structuring.My collaboration with sports leagues, associations, and agents has been particularly impactful. I have provided a range of services, from general counsel to corporate and league governance, intellectual property, player transfers, contract negotiations, market analysis, marketing and endorsements, and dispute resolution.During my time at Campbell, I had the privilege of helping my clients maintain and advance corporate and strategic agreements with esteemed organizations such as USA Hockey, Hockey Canada, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Calgary Flames, the Montreal Canadiens, the American Hockey Coaches Association, and many others.

I have extensive experience working on athlete and coach selection procedures for the Olympic Games and other international events. I have also been involved in NGB arbitrations and internal grievances. Additionally, I have helped develop anti-doping policies as part of a USOC-USADA working group. I have collaborated closely with NGBs to ensure compliance with the U.S. Olympic Committee’s policies and regulations. Furthermore, I have assisted the USOC working group for SafeSport in outreach efforts, research, and policy development.
