Manage budget and field operations for multi-million dollar contracts in the steel erecting field of construction.

Assisted in the construction of an Central Plant Upgrade to Terminals A and B at Bush Intercontinental Airport, helped in completing the remodel of the Sylvan Beach Resort in La Porte, Tx and assisted in procuring, estimating & bidding for a control building at the new Fluor Ethylene Cracker Unit being constructed in Baytown, Tx.

Oversaw the curtain wall procurement and construction for multiple office buildings on the site of the new ExxonMobil Campus project in Spring, Tx. My daily work activities included reviewing submittals/coordinating with the architect and engineer staff, change management associated with a design-assist contractor, updating schedules/working with project schedulers, coordinating with building teams and issues into the field, created and updated spreadsheets of production, and hosted meetings for coordination purposes.

Also while attending college at SHSU, I worked close with the Superintendents and Project Manager assisting them during the construction of the new Lone Star Hall on the campus of Sam Houston State University. My duties included: performing layout of building and control lines, coordinating with subcontractors of work to be completed in a timely manner, updating drawings with new RFI's, creating as-built drawings for the BIM turnover package, safety and SWPPP inspections, as well as maintaining a clean and safe job site.

While attending college at SHSU, I worked for SpawGlass as a carpenter and later as an intern during the construction of the new Gaertner Performing Arts Center. My duties as a carpenter included: concrete form building, concrete finishing, wood blocking installation, plumbing repair, drywall repair and metal working. My duties as an intern included: creating punch/completion lists while working close with the owner and subcontractors to get the work completed in a timely manner, assisting in layout of control lines for installation of lighting and art work, dirt grading utilizing a builders level to prepare the rough grade for landscaping installation, and supervising when needed and during night shift activities.

After finishing high school, I entered the commercial construction industry working for a small commercial contractor, all while attending college. My duties included: welding, carpentry, drywall, painting and masonry.
