The primary function of this position is to serve as an Aircraft Life Support Equipment Technician responsible for ensuring that aircraft equipment is functioning safely and efficiently. This position ensures that all mission-required ALSE is available in sufficient quantities and in serviceable condition. The Aircraft Mechanic II (ALSE Tech) will also perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on assigned Aviation Life Support Equipment, and coordinate higher-level maintenance for items beyond the capabilities of the ALSE shop.
