Responsible for a small team of operators working with class two biosaftey cabinets and liquid handling robots. Duties include quality checks on all lysis plates produced and spoting and fixing of any data inport errors using Lims. Also reposble for staff training in the correct and safe way to carry out the tasks on my sectoin and retraining if required

working in one of the coivd testing lighthouse laboratories in a high throughput lab. working to press samples from public and business to check for covid 19 and help slow the spread. experience working with class 2 biosafety cabinets and separating samples out to be processed in the most suitable section. the manual preparation of lysis plates ready for RNA extraction. i I am also signed of to train new starts in the manual preperatroin of lysis plates. i ahanve gained experience operating a sample tecan and the use of ABI 7500s for Qpcr using TAQman probes. i also gained exprance in designing produre as I was part of a team of people to redesign standard operating procedure the manual cherry picking process

I was responsible for insuring all the exitbits had the correct forms filled in correctly before they had permission to be sent externally to the labs. Also responsible for budgeting.

i was responsible with dealing with customer over the phone and maintaining there relationship with BT buy valuing there custom as i worked in sales and retention
