SKILL OVERVIEWTEAM LEADERSHIP• Commanded a ship with a crew of 320 personnel in the operation, maintenance, and repair of over $1.5 Billion worth of mechanical and electrical shipboard systems.• Managed a team of 15 from 5 separate organizations and locations to plan and execute DoD’s largest experimentation event for counter drone technologies. Included over 1,700 government and industry observers and participants.• Led a diverse group of civilian and military subject matter experts from 50 different organizations to create DoD’s first systematic assessment of counter drone technologies.PROJECT MANAGEMENT• Organized a complex 7 month upgrade to shipboard electronic and mechanical systems worth $100 Million into smaller achievable milestones. Completed on budget and on time.TRAINING• As Executive Officer, responsible for all ship wide training for 320 Sailors to use their equipment safely and effectively while under extreme pressure.STRATEGIC NEGOTIATIONS • Presented key organizational equities during bilateral negotiations with Spain to ensure the effective permanent deployment of four US ships, their personnel and family, and logistics support infrastructure to Naval Station Rota.• Served on US/Romania Missile Defense Subcommittee to coordinate bilateral concerns and requirements associated with the $1 Billion construction of US missile defense systems at a military facility in Romania.
