Waste Water Treatment

Managed a team of flight coordinators and air traffic advisers who dispatched up to 20 helicopters a day making on average 40 missions per helicopter. Weekly cost for helicopters over 1 million. Held daily safety briefings and worked hand in hand with the helicopter safety professional on the project to keep in compliance with FAA, CPUC, OSHA and project rules. Helped pilots avoid many restricted areas caused by bird nesting buffers, sensitive landowners, and agency restrictions. Reviewed GPS tracks daily to give pilots compliance reports. Handled problems that came up regarding the helicopter operations of the largest helicopter project in North America to date.

Dispatched helicopters from one of 15 construction yards on the project to move people or materials to one of over 250 sites not accessible by ground. Calls came in by phone or one of 4 radios listened to and the appropriate helicopter would be chosen and assigned the task. Briefed pilots on abnormalities near the flight paths that would affect compliance and safety issues. Administered daily morning tailboard for workers in the yard to keep crews working safely around helicopters. Accountable for everyone flown out to make sure they all come back in.

Owner and operator of a water well construction company. Diagnosed problems in existing wells to fix them. Designed systems for new wells or upgrades in current systems. Took all calls for company and met with customers to propose work and bill them after job was done with an average of 3 customers a week. Went to manufacturing plants to learn about products to use. Handled filtration and treatment issues.

Driller on Driltech D40K drill rig drilling water wells ranging from 100’ to 1,200’. Diagnosed problems in existing wells to fix them. Designed systems for new wells or upgrades in current systems. Handled filtration and treatment issues.
