As a Project and Development Manager for MCD Australia, Ryan was responsible for the delivery of a number of successful projects ranging from multi-use, high rise towers to land subdivisions, retail redevelopments and the preparation of a full set of design guidelines for Dubai Properties, both locally and internationally. In his first secondment to the UAE, Ryan was responsible for US$2 Billion worth of projects and the preparation of feasibility studies up to US$5 Billion in project value from Panama to Morocco and the UAE. This role was much more front-end focused from a Development Management perspective.Most recently in Dubai, Ryan was the Project Manager for the Conceptual Masterplan and preparation of the Feasibility/Business Model of “Space City Malaysia”, a technologically advanced city proposed for a 2,500 acre green-field site in Negri Sembilan, Malaysia (approximate project value $7 Billion). The role involved managing the international based consultant team to reach the necessary outcomes of the Masterplan; including Site Services Investigation, Operational Modeling, Market Research, Digital Modeling, Architectural and Infrastructure Planning whilst being cognizant of the Environmental and Social impacts pertaining to a functional, sustainable city. This role was an all-encompassing role, critical to providing a fully functional, feasible city.

A senior member of the Project and Development Services (P&DS) Brisbane division, working as a Project Manager, this role reported directly to the director of P&DS. The position also involved mentoring two Project Managers and overseeing a large amount of office fitout work.Employed originally to manage a large gas plant and associated housing infrastructure in PNG for Exxon Mobil (subsequently placed on hold), the position was re-focused on medium to large scale Retail and Office fitouts including the State Project Manager position for the Australia Post national account. This included managing the Queensland roll out of new stores and refurbishments under the strict national guidelines of Australia Post. Provided Tenancy Coordination services for the 400 George Food Court Tenancies.Defined the brief and prepared the program and resource schedule for the Federal Governments national housing program (FAHCSIA).

Responsibilities included authority approvals, design management, contract administration and liaising with all relevant parties of the development process to ensure the smooth running of the projects. This role also included site sourcing, basic quantity surveying and building budgeting with the use of AutoCAD.
