I attended Southern Illinois University Carbondale where I earned a dual Masters Degree in Accounting & Business Administration. I was involved in many organizations at SIUC, the most prevalent being the Swimming and Diving team where I served as Team Captain in my junior and senior years. During graduate school, I served as an assistant coach for the men's and women's programs, while also working as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletics Business Office. As a GA in the Business Office, I learned how to more effectively manage my time and build an affinity for the work accountants perform daily, which is why I am pursuing a career in accounting. My most important values are commitment, hard work, and leadership, and I strive to stay true to these values each and every day. I accepted an Assurance Staff position in the Fall of 2022 with Plante Moran, and was recently promoted to Assurance Senior in my second year with the firm. I am grateful for the experiences I've had at Plante Moran so far, and I'm excited for the opportunities that lie ahead in my new role.
