Cheap insurance is not good and good insurance is not cheap I will always insure every customer and potential customer like I would insure my own family if not better. Of course I want to sell as many policies as I’m able but only with the best intentions of my clients in mind. The importance of the products I work with and my integrity are greater than “as cheap as I can make it” with a big commission check. Life insurance is the most underrated financial product available to the general public at an affordable price that I can imagine! I will never put money into a savings account again, it will go into an IUL. If you don’t know what that is and you want your children and your children’s children to be rich one day…ask me! Do not under insure your vehicle unless you’re prepared to lose everything you have. State minimums are a joke especially with vehicle prices today! The most popular vehicle in Texas is the Ford F-150. A new BASE model F-150 starts around 40K. You total a base model F-150 or equivalent with minimum limits you’re out of pocket 10k if no one is hurt! Someone is injured, 30K in medical bills goes quick after an ambulance visit, X-ray, and CT scan. If someone dies, the average death settlement case from auto accidents will run you about 800K, effectively ruining your financial life. 17% of registered Texas drivers are currently uninsured. Uninsured/underinsured motorist or driver with a fake insurance card hits you and totals your vehicle. You have no uninsured motorist coverage. You now have a salvaged unpaid total loss. Your gap insurance does not kick in because it only covers the gap between the total loss amount and the loan amount, when there’s no loss amount, there’s no gap, only a loan amount left!!! So now you have a car loan and no car so you need a car, you may or may not be injured so you may or may not be out of work with hospital bills so I hope you have medical coverage, personal injury protection, or good health insurance and strong bones! I don’t say things like this to scare people, I say things like this so when I tell people they need better coverage they take me seriously. When you work at a bar, you hear a lot of drinking stories, when you work at the bait shop, you hear a lot of fish stories…when you work in insurance you hear a lot of really awful things that happen to people every day but you’re never desensitized, if you’re good at what you do, you’ll make it your mission to spread the word to protect yourselves, your family, and your assets properly…because it can all be gone in the blink of an eye!
