• Developed and maintained a large-scale cloud native web service that provides hospitals with remote provisioning and monitoring ability for thousands of General Electric CT & MRI medical devices across provinces in China• Structured RESTful APIs hosted by remote device control service for visibility of device status and logs, and tested APIs using Postman framework• Built up a data pipeline that retrieves, parses, cleans and persists logs of CT tube parts into MongoDB using RabbitMQ to broadcast data from devices to backend; processed dataset then was used to train tube parts malfunction prediction model to shorten device shutdown period• Implemented file indexing and download from remote Linux system running in devices with Apache FTP/SFTP toolkit to avoid unrecognized soft link to folders• Deployed the Kubernetes top-level Proxy service based on OpenResty that coalesces multiple sockets into a single one. Used Redis as message middleware between the back-end and OpenResty to dynamically control the open/close of medical device configuration pages• Collaborated with product managers to analyze potential technical solutions to business cases based on evolving requirements from GE medical department; worked closely with a group of 20 engineers across scopes of UI, testing and data in a fast-paced development cycle
