Restaurant Development & Construction

A JDL Corporate Interiors APM works closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to deliver the highest quality construction management services to their clients. These construction services include helping create a schedule during project set up and sub-bid, managing the submittal process and effectually communicating with subcontractors and project team to resolve any potential issues, identifying/procuring all necessary material and gather/resolve lead time issues, create and submit RFIs as needed. The APM also prepares, edits, proofs detailed documents such as construction correspondence, contracts, submittal logs, RFI logs, access requests and meeting minutes. A key role is the development of critical client relationships and working collaboratively with architects, engineers and subcontractors.

Supports Shawmut's business lines by providing timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis and assistance to project teams. Provides an initial level of compliance and checks-and-balances oversight for project specific financial transactions. Responsible for the project billing process, which includes verifying project costs, contract terms, and coordination with project management to ensure accurate and timely recording of all project revenue and costs.

As an integral part of the Project team the Project Accountant provides the highest quality financial services to the Projects. Quality financial services include Contract review, Billings, Work-in-Place Reporting, Subcontractor and General Condition payments, and Cash Reporting. The Project Accountant always follows Turner Policy and Procedures and will communicate any potential profitability or risk to management. The position requires an excellent knowledge of Accounting Principles and excellent organization skills to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
