Managed the acquisition and development activities of multiple utility-scale renewable energy projects within the MISO, PJM, TVA, and ISO-NE markets. Secured over 800 MWs of renewable energy projects, entered and managed them through their respective RTO queues, oversaw the early stage environmental studies and engineering/design work while developing/tracking project specific budgets. Developed project proformas ($250 MM+) and entered RFPs for potential PPA offtakers.

Developed utility-scale renewable energy projects within PJM and ISO-NE. Secured and entered nearly 400 MWs of solar energy projects into their respective market queue. Performed necessary early-stage development activities including environmental studies, permitting, engineering/design, proforma modeling and project budgeting.

CPV Towantic Energy Center:805 MW 2x1 combined-cycle Power Plant, consisting of two 7HA.01 GE combustion turbines, two CMI heat recovery steam generators (HRSG's) and one D602 GE steam turbine. As the Plant Engineer I was tasked with analyzing overall Plant performance in areas such as plant reliability, thermal performance and energy market compliance (ISO-NE, NPCC, NERC, GADS, EIA). Established and managed the Management of Change Committee (MOC). The MOC committee was responsible for analyzing and approving/denying, any and all design changes and improvements for Towantic Energy Center. I lead the implementation of capital projects that improved Plant reliability and production ultimately increasing profitability. I saw these projects through their scope, budget, design and project management cycles into completion in upwards of $1MM. Supported month end reporting to the governing agencies and owners. These reports compiled Plant production, fuel consumption, environmental compliance and overall performance.

My mission was to ensure that CPV would successfully receive an operation-ready state of the art combined cycle energy facility. This project was completed in a safe, efficient and environmentally compliant manner exceeding the owner/investors expectations on both schedule, budget and overall plant performance. Co-managed commercial contracts associated to the project, ensured compliance with regulatory permits throughout Towantic's development. Performed quality control and assurance measures in the field throughout construction. Presented weekly construction progress meetings to on site management team. Compiled monthly construction, asset management and investor reports. Performed snapshot audits on contractor change orders and invoices. Developed strong public relations with the surrounding communities.

Worked as a steel contractor/ erector. Designed, fabricated and installed cellular towers/sites for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and SPRINT, as well as residential and commercial projects. Obtained “Unlimited Mig” certification from the American Welding Society. Primary welder for the company, interpreting blueprints, layout work, project design and cost estimations. Responsible for shop inventory and supplies pertaining to project specific and daily operational logistics. Overhauled Waste to Energy boilers used to generate electricity. Upgraded balance of plant systems to improve reliability and plant performance. Tasked with boiler tube repairs and super-heater changeouts. Obtained "Stick" certification to weld high-pressure boiler parts under the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Worked rotating shift in all seven New England facilities.
