    Assurance Technologies has grown from an 11 employee organization in 1996 to now 36 employees in 2019. Over the last 2 years we've brought on new distribution lines such as Mitutoyo CMM's, Form & Surface Finish Testers, Vici-Vision Optical Shaft Scanners, Snap-On & CDI Torque and other hard gage manufacturers. Internally we've added new equipment to our ISO 17025 accredited calibration & contract testing labs. In 2018, we added a fully automated RA-2200 Mitutoyo Roundness Tester for CMM Sphere calibration and cylindrical feature contract inspection. In 2019, we added a Mitutoyo CS-3200 that can handle both contracer & surface roughness measurements for Ra Specimen and custom thread flank angle calibration. The unit is also available to our contract inspection team for handling small tight toleranced 2D inspection work. The growth over the last few years has allowed us to add roles, expand job responsibilities and streamline internal workflows to support the increased work without compromising existing relationships. In 2016, ATI was the first Midwest based calibration company to develop a custom cloud based calibration resource which gives our customers an online portal to manage their entire gage list. It allowed customers to view calibration status in real-time, track gage history and incorporate a bar-code scanner for on-site internal gage management. Quality Managers can require technicians & production operators to check-in/out of gages to track life-cycle of the gage, damage control and access usage of the gage for revisions to calibration cycles. In 2019, our portal is now mobile friendly and is tablet enabled for ease of certificate retrieval during audits. On July 1st, we're launching an update to enhance the speed. Once complete we'll begin development of custom auditing, tracking & management modules that will be released to all current calibration customers.
