Carry out acceptance testing, calibration, preventive maintenance, repairs, installation/collection of dialysis machines and associated equipment in private homes, hospitals and other technical support services within SLHD and associated sites.• Completion of all assigned repairs & maintenance jobs within given time frames to ensure client satisfaction in maintaining their dialysis treatment.• Completion of all routine / scheduled inspections as directed to ensure regulatory requirements are met.• Maintain service and calibration records, service manuals, data sheets and reference material to be used in the above duties, so that regulatory requirements are met.• Maintain good relations with healthcare personal, patients, relatives and visitors as required.

The COVID-19 is an unprecedented period. There are many challenges for my team, but we continuously provide and delivery technical support without any compromise to the health of renal dialysis patients. All the team's achievements listed below are not going to be possible without the hardworking of each team member and supporting from other colleagues in the department.- Initiated SOP for Home Visit during COVID-19 to protect the health of team members and home patients. During the COVID period, the team has continuously provided support to home dialysis patients without any incident or any break-off.- Extended the service internal of renal equipment, which is an outcome after consulting the machine manufacture and approved by the department director. By 20th February 2023, the renal team has achieved the serviced rate of preventative maintenance for all renal devices over 97% in total. - Initiated SLHD BME Renal Team Asset Management Processes in the team to standardize the daily work including commissioning, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, decommissioning, recall, loan acceptance and so on. Since treating this procedure as working guideline, the team has managed and maintained renal support in SLHD over the COVID-19 with restricted resource without any failures.- The renal team is the only one taking full responsibility to managing distribute the COVID vials to Sydney Olympic Park Vaccine centre, Sydney Airport Vaccine clinic and all various hubs in SLHD.- The renal team delivered ECMO machines to different hospitals in NSW for the ECMO recovery mission. We supported major hospitals in NSW namely Westmead Hospital, St George Hospital, St Vincent Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital and so on. This is a very successful trial for BME department and medical teams working together to deliver the acute treatment during COVID pandemic for the first time.
