Develop new robotic solutions for use in waste water repair and rehabilitation processes.▪ Design controls and robotic systems to meet customer needs and advance the company’s front end technology.▪ Create detailed 3D models, 2D prints which use and adhere to GD&T techniques, and BOMs for use in internal and external manufacturing efforts.▪ Further develop existing designs using continuous improvement and design for manufacturing strategies to reduce costs and improve overall functionality.▪ Perform new product design from conception and prototyping to final and post release support.▪ Perform thermal and structural simulation analysis to help guide development process.

Design system layouts and positioners to hold tooling for robotic or manual welding.▪ Create cell layouts which contain designed tooling, positioners, and robot tracks using Solidworks.▪ Design to adhere to Lincoln Electric and customer safety requirements for operator protection.▪ Plan electrical layouts within cells to support optimized assembly and wire paths.▪ Create drawings for manufacturing of cell components and for review and approval of design.▪ Collaborate with members of several teams to ensure quality of performance and aesthetics.

Independently design standalone tooling schemes for robotic and manual welding.▪ Generate models, drawings, and BOMs for parts and assemblies for use in manufacturing.▪ Manage several simultaneous projects to insure timely creation of deliverables adhering to deadlines▪ Work directly with manufacturing group to improve designs for manufacturability.▪ Design for manufacturing with multiple materials to include steel, aluminum, and sheet metal.▪ Create solutions using hydraulic or pneumatic systems and perform related calculations.▪ Simulate tool designs using FEA software to identify structural integrity issues and provide feedback

Provide consultation on products being designed related to heat transfer and structural analysis.▪ Perform detailed thermal and mechanical analysis to assist the design team in material selection and physical design for products.▪ Generate 3D models to be used in 3D printing, prototyping, and manufacturing.▪ Work with manufacturers and assemblers to iterate and improve overall final product quality.▪ Directly involved in design process from beginning to end of product development life cycle.

Perform maintenance and construction work, including framing, concrete, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry. Ensure construction quality, provide superior services, and maintain customer satisfaction. Manage projects to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget. Quickly establish rapport with customers to ensure deliverables are completed to their satisfaction.
