About Ryan Lynes

I am a dynamic leader with an extensive engineering background. I am passionate about building highly technical and efficient engineering teams, improving processes and infrastructure, and developing high-quality products. I started my career at Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) in 2003 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Computer Engineering. I helped X-ES grow from a small startup with less than ten employees into a highly successful embedded computing company employing over 400 individuals. Throughout my career at X-ES, I have held widely varying positions and embraced additional responsibilities as X-ES evolved into an industry leader.I have deep technical knowledge of electronic design, printed circuit board layout, qualification testing, prototyping, manufacturing processes, and project management.I excel at driving initiatives and projects to completion by making difficult trade-off decisions that are in the best interest of our company and our customers. During my career at X-ES, the executive team has routinely asked me to lead critical initiatives that span multiple departments. Currently, I manage a diverse team of electrical engineers, software engineers, and electronic technicians. Our team is responsible for designing, testing, and improving all point-of-load power supplies on our single-board computers (SBCs).
