As a Aviation communications specialist my main job is focused on ground to ground and ground to air communications in the HF, VHF and UHF frequency bands utilising a range of equipment, different modulations and techniques.This involves everything from planning and surveying the area to work out the best method and equipment to use , the physical setup , maintenance, fault finding and repair of equipment to ensure constant communications.The other half of my job is an administer on the Mission planning System for Apache helicopters with the main focus of this on building networks, maintenance and administration of the system , security and operation of this system itself including use of complex applications and tools. This often also includes providing assistance to aircrew with planning.I have a strong interest in Cyber Security and as such i am pursuing further education in this area with the aim of specialising my career to this field specifically.

As a Air conditioning and refrigeration engineer my main tasks was maintenance , fault finding, repair along with new installations. I worked on a huge range of equipment from small domestic level air conditioning to multi stage blast freezers in a vehicle engine factory and multi story office buildings.As a engineer i was often working alone to a fast paced schedule which required me to be motivated and to manage time well in order to complete priority jobs in the best order. I regularly liaised directly with customers to explain faults and necessary repairs in easy to understand language so as to allow them to make an informed decision about repairs in regards to time and cost.
