Lift Engineer
CurrentDuring my time at TK Elevators, I have been responsible for:• The removal and installation of all car and counterweight cables, within the shaft.• Understanding and working around the safety circuit of the elevator. With this, Ihave demonstrated a high level of skill to help overcome any problems that havearose within the elevator safety circuit.• The renovation of the elevator cab by installing new car panels, lights, drop ceilings,car operating panel (COP) and flooring.• Ensuring that the elevator is completed on time, to the highest standard of workand that all quality checks are exceeded.• A large variety of power and hand tools, which include SDS, Torque Gun and a basicscrewdriver.• Adhering to each of the safety precautions which include the wearing of PersonalProtective Equipment, within the workplace.• The removal and installation of all car and shaft wiring, including car top and motorwiring.• Completing different 'Health and Safety' certificates which have allowed me towork independently within the elevator.• Controlling and operating different types of lifting gear. For example: Electric Hoist,Ratchet Lever Hoist and Chain Blocks.
