As the Assistant Director of Bioinformatic Sciences at Lacerta Therapeutics, I lead a team of scientists and analysts who apply cutting-edge bioinformatics methods to study RNA biology and its applications in human disease monitoring and treatment. We work in close collaboration with other departments and external partners to design, execute, and interpret experiments that leverage Next Generation Sequencing and other technologies to generate high-quality data and insights.With over 15 years of experience in molecular biology and bioinformatics, I have developed a strong expertise in gene expression profiling, data analysis, and statistical testing using linux/bash and R. I have also gained extensive experience with molecular and statistical tools to measure and analyze gene expression in cell culture, animal models and patient samples. My mission is to use my skills and knowledge to advance the field of RNA biology and contribute to the development of novel and effective therapies for patients with rare and genetic diseases.
