At Philips, I aided the release of their upcoming transducer products through several facets of design. I developed a test fixture to analyze interposer performance, including a custom 3-metal layer flex circuit modeled in DraftSight. I used SolidWorks surfacing tools to redesign a transducer button cover, assembled prototypes, and worked with marketing for customer feedback. I also collaborated remotely with manufacturing engineers to resolve time-sensitive ergonomic issues on multiple transducer tools.

At Medica, I contributed to the design process of their chemistry analyzers through prototyping, testing, and verification. I conducted a 20-trial drop test on solution packs and collaborated with colleagues & suppliers to resolve any issues discovered. I designed parts in SolidWorks and 3D printed them to improve the verification of engineering prototypes. I gained familiarity with electromechanical systems when creating a custom micro USB cable, as well as designing a test fixture in Solidworks to verify main board functionality of an analyzer. Lastly, I learned the filing process for document revision through frequent updates in documentation for modified/unreleased parts.
