I graduated Valedictorian of Argyle High School, and I am now a Sophomore Interdisciplinary Engineering Honors student at Texas A&M University. Here at TAMU, I am a Brown Scholar and President's Endowed Scholar on our SAE Formula Electric team. During my time at high school, I participated on our school's UIL Science and Computer Science team, National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll Honor Society, and I founded a Woodworking and Advanced Manufacturing Club. I was also a National Merit Finalist, AP Scholar with Distinction, and received recognition as a Rural and Small town student.During my high school career, I ran my own woodworking business, Texas Carvings, in which I produced and sold signage and other woodworking products across the US. I sold over 350 pieces to 28 unique states with a perfect 5 star rating from a 40% response rate. In connection to that I became a Fusion 360 Certified User, Photoshop Certified Expert, and Microsoft Certified for Azure AI Fundamentals. I also speak Spanish, know JAVA, and I am currently learning Chinese.Last summer I attended the Conway Fitzhugh Leadership Seminar in Italy. Through this immersion in Italian culture, I learned basic Italian and worked to improve leadership skills through group activities and real life leadership application. All the while meeting incredible new people and making connections and friendships of a lifetime.
