• Manage custodial personnel schedules and time. Training and onboard new employees. This includes telling them about dress codes, teaching them how to use specialized equipment, informing them of codes of conduct, health regulations, and familiarizing them with the facility.• Repair, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of all school facilities’ and grounds.• Track custodial expenditures and inventory of supplies and custodial equipment. Order inventory when needed.• Monitor building use and building systems.• Assign and manage seasonal and special projects for staff. Check that tasks are done correctly and in a timely manner.• Make sure the building is always safe and secure.
