I am currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science at Northeastern University. I have always enjoyed working with others to brainstorm, design, and implement impactful systems to increase productivity. Prior to enrolling in this program, I majored in biology and was working at Target as a fulfillment expert. With my unique background, I would always look for ways to mimic the efficiency of nature and offer suggestions to improve the productivity of the fulfillment team. When I was taking a foundations of computer science course at my local community college while working full time at Target, I noticed a flaw in the app that we used that could easily be fixed. I decided to transition to a technical role where I will be able to help improve efficiencies within apps employees may be using. This is why I am seeking a coop in Software Engineering where I will be able to apply my unique knowledge of employee experience with the technical skills I am learning in my program.
