• Provide artwork (both print & digital) advertising all of the Business Transitions Forum, SAASNORTH, TechExit, Tech Talent North & KNOWSHOW trade shows, along with guides, badges, posters, & signage at the events.• Maintain the Business Transitions Forum, SAASNORTH, TechExit, Tech Talent North & KNOWSHOW websites, creating & customizing new page/post/widget templates to increase functionality on both the front & back-ends of the site.

Contract role with Sage Marcom (Marketing Communications), a U.S. based central marketing agency responsible for the Small Business Solutions division of Sage North America. I was the Canadian counterpart to a small team of other Designer/Developers in a highly project-managed environment.My role involved:• Promoting Sage products (primarily Sage 50 CA/US) through the creation of engaging and brand-compliant marketing assets (responsive landing pages, emails, banner ads). • Litmus testing email designs to ensure compatibility across all email clients and environments.• Uploading landing pages and emails directly into Eloqua, integrating lead-gen forms for campaign tracking purposes, hooking up assets to different stages of marketing campaigns, testing, and troubleshooting. • Design of ads, whitepapers, spec sheets, and eBooks for both print and digital distribution, all utilizing brand templates where applicable and adhering to global brand guidelines.

Web Focus (April 2012 – Present)• Managed overall website operations by project managing developments, performing site maintenance, training staff to undertake revisions themselves, and ensuring overall consistency across 7 localized sites.• Redesigned the most trafficked product and download pages resulting in an increase of exposure to the constant flow of new and dynamic content from the blog and content library. • Collaborated with various departments to ensure vested interests were accounted for in all web developments.• Coached outsourced content marketing company to increase readability, relevance and shareability of blog articles. Social Focus (April 2011 – April 2012)• Introduced social media company wide, educating staff on various channels to share our blog.• Leadership role, responsible for training staff to be “thought leaders” in their respective fields of expertise for their contributions to the blog.• Key contributor to the blog, authoring articles on a daily basis and promoting them through various social media channels.
