Trapped, radio- and PIT-tagged adult Chinook at project dams. Conducted assessment of energetic condition of fish. Collected otoliths and scales, and prepared tissue samples for proximate analysis and pathological assessment. Mobile tracked tagged fish, and conducted carcass/spawning ground surveys for fish recovery and analysis of spawning success and redd counts. Supervised a technician during field season. Performed duties associated with exploring landscape and local level factors on streams and reproductive success of the American Dipper across Idaho. Field work included mist netting birds, banding, blood draws, and nest sampling. Work included habitat assessments, aquatic insect sampling, some GIS analysis, and stable isotope preparations. Oversaw student technicians responsible for data entry and macroinvertebrate identification.
