The Events Planner, Operations is responsible for the management and direction of event production, administration of technical resources, and leadership of event support and technical services personnel for facilities at Augsburg University. Provides leadership and guidance to student organizations, conference and reservation staff, as well as other internal planners and staff to coordinate event management and technical support. Works closely with IT on diagnosis and maintenance of all audio-visual equipment in meeting and conference rooms and maintains an accurate inventory of all campus event equipment.

The Technical Coordinator position supports the educational programs of the University by effectuating media and technology requests within the Centennial Student Union and ancillary spaces; creatively planning and translating abstract concepts into effective audio, visual, lighting, and technical form; engaging in the pre-production and implementation of programs; responding to client requests; managing the purchase and maintenance of technical equipment and software; and supervising media and technology employees. The Coordinator is part of a dynamic environment consisting of new initiatives and evolving programs.
