From a young age I have always been driven in my goals. I chose not to attend university but, to instead start my career path. Whilst waiting to join the British Army I worked as a Sales Assistant at Sainsburys, Folkestone where I was quickly trusted and given the responsibility to work alone during late shifts and manage the fresh produce department.In 2010 I joined the British Army as a Communications Systems Operator in the Royal Corp of Signals. Immediately I improved my own physical fitness, confidence, teamwork and management skills. During my 5 year career, I quickly gained the respect from my peers promoting to Lance Corporal and deploying on 3 operational tours, one in which I was trusted solely to manage and maintain the communications systems for a Helicopter Landing Site (HLS) in LashKar Ghar, Afghanistan.In 2015 I joined Hy-Tex (UK) Ltd as a Sales Manager. With my technical background I was able to implement faster and more efficient methods of managing the day to day tasks as well as change the way the business bought, managed and sold it products. My management skills are shown on a daily basis where I am trusted to run the general day to day life of the business. I have always had very good maths skills (took maths GCSE early achieving an A), which allows me to forecast and manage profit margins effectively. As well as my management and sales skills I have also acquired a NEBOSH General qualification which allows me to manage and maintain Hy-Tex (UK) Ltd's health and safety.
