About Ryan Markus
I started coding after i matriculated from high school. I studied at G-CITI in Elsies River, here i learned the basics of Web Development. We learned HTML5, CSS3, Javascript as well as how to use DreamWeaver.I was going to stop coding after the course was completed but then i got a opportunity to intern at Microsoft.I was given opportunity to complete a developer internship at the Microsoft AppFactory, where Iwas mentored by a dedicated senior developer and mentor.After the internship i manage to get into Wethinkcode where i expanded my coding skill. In the course i learned basics for Python, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, some SQL and Dotnet. Throughout the course i did several projects in these languages and learned coding concepts such as TDD.

I was given opportunity to complete a developer internship at the Microsoft AppFactory, where Iwas mentored by a dedicated senior developer and mentor.As part of the work at the internship I was tasked to develop and deliver a business directory for anon-profit organisation using Nuxt & Vue for the frontend, ExpressJS for the backend andMongoDB for the database. I wrote the code using VS Code and we used Azure DevOps forsource code and task management. I also researched and presented multiple topics includingdifferent web hosting solutions, package management and unit testing with Jasmine, Karma aswell as Jest.
