My name is Ryan Marshall, and I am the Sales and Operations Manager for Baseman Bros. Inc. We are a family owned and operated athletic flooring company located in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin. I started my tenure at Baseman Bros in 2006 as an accounting assistant during my senior year of high school. Following high school graduation I started working as a seasonal employee focused on recoating and refinishing wood gymnasium floors. My college career took me from Carroll College to UW Oshkosh studying business administration and accounting, all awhile I was working at Baseman Bros Inc. in different capacities. I learned how to sand floors, paint logos and game lines, install volleyball equipment, and furnish repairs. When my college career ended, I joined Baseman Bros Inc full time as the crew foreman. I successfully managed countless projects, two of which resulted in national recognition winning Sports Floor of the Year via Robbins Sports floors in 2011 and 2019. I continued expanding my responsibilities into sales, selling our athletic flooring surfaces to school districts, colleges and universities, YMCAs, and to private owners. Now my primary focus is to learn as much as I can about what it takes to be a business owner and entrepreneur as I prepare for the next steps in my career.
