Hired to hold full responsibility for quality control, cost controls, and delivery of dry bagged concrete and masonry products to customers ranging from Lowe's and Home Depot. General contractors would receive our bulk bagged product. Supervised a production manager, three supervisors, a dispatcher, an office manager, a box store salesman, two bulk salesmen, and Class A Truck Drivers. Worked closely with corporate executives, corporate sales, and engineering to build and sustain growth. Conducted monthly reviews with Director of Ops, and VP's that covered key areas, including P&L, goal attainment, cost reduction, annual budget and forecast, variance analysis, staffing, and engineering. Selected Accomplishments include:*Increased the P&L net from 14.3% to 25.7% within a two-months time frame during a time economic downturn.*Improved plant production by 28% bags per hour and decreased our production payroll by 106.7% by reducing the need of a third shift. I was hired to establish the Columbia market and coordinated the hiring and training of the sales team and the technicians. I also established sales goals and quotas for management to follow. Duties also included budgeting for all 8 stores in the market and analyzing sales statistics gathered by the staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements. I was the liaison between disgruntled customers and the stores. Additionally, had the sole responsibility of P&L for all 8 stores, along with being responsible for 8 store managers, 8 shop foreman, and 25 technicians. Selected Accomplishments include: Coordinated the grand opening of the Columbia market. Maintained the average ticket price 28.3% higher than corporate goals. Kept customer satisfaction above 97% Net profit margin was above 28% for the entire market

Responsibilities included management of 4 supervisors and more than 250 employees of a chicken processing plant. Duties included direction of production, packaging, and transportation. Implemented new techniques that showed an increase in profits and reduced the amount of employees needed to perform the de-boning process.
