I served as the Indiana Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning's Director of HIT/HIE. In this role I facilitated a Medicaid Transformation Grant to provide HIT/HIE infrastructure to one Indiana Urban community, Evansville. I also lead the write up of Indiana's Planning Advanced Planning Document and Planning effort for defining Indiana Medicaid Meaningful Use of an EMR/EHR as well as creation of the mechanism for paying incentives to providers when criteria are met.

The Director of Medicaid Informatics provides for the coordination, definition, prioritization and execution of data reporting requests across a variety of internal and external data sources. The Director has responsibility for identifying and acquiring the appropriate skills to accomplish Medicaid strategic initiatives of enhanced reporting through the use of dashboards, report standardization and knowledge management and the establishment of a division wide vendor and contract management processes.
