My role manages and leads the WPACT activities in accordance with the policies and objectives established by the WPACT board. I am responsible for the following functions and/or departments: events, competitions, judiciary, finance, communications, coaching/officials accreditation, member protection, registration and pathways. Key responsibilities for my role include:• Executing the WPACT operational plan and the strategic objectives of the board.• Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders, including WPA, ACT Government, ACT aquatic venues and state associations.• Managing the operations of the WPACT local competition, which includes organising volunteer/casual staff, booking pools and updating game results.• Oversee the financial operations of the association and manage the organisations cash flow and be accountable for all income and expenditure with the assistance of the WPACT treasurer and bookkeeper. • Direction and administration of WPACT online education courses on coaching and officiating in ACT. • Managing the online registration and competition management system, Revolutionise Sport.• Assisting with the ACT representative teams, which includes tournament registrations, uniforms and pool bookings. • Communicate with clubs and members regarding all competition related information. This involves sending emails, posting on the website/social media and answering any questions from members.• Oversee and coordinate the reporting obligations to the ATO• Meet reporting and registration obligations to the ACT government and have a sound understand of the Associations Incorporation Act (i.e. supplying audited accounts)• Coordinating administration processes, office management, finances for competitions and sport development.• Apply for government and non-government grants

Tournament Director for the below Sporting EventsCanberra Cup - Water Polo TournamentLargest private Water Polo tournament in Australia. Since beginning as a director, the tournament has grown from 28 teams across 4 divisions to 80 teams across 8 divisions. We now utilise 4 aquatic centres as host venues and employ 10 part-time staff across the two weekend tournament. Canberra Cup brought on two major sponsors in the 2019 edition of Canberra Cup and is a sought after event for sponsorship. WATERPOLOOZA Water Polo Festival WATERPOLOOZA 12&U Water Polo tournament began in 2015 with 12 teams and has grown to now involve 26 teams in the 2019 edition. WATERPOLOOZA has 3 divisions and is played at 1 venue with 2 fields of play. The tournament employs 5 part-time staff to service the tournament. The tournament has a naming rights sponsor which came on board successfully in 2019.Water Polo ACT - Competitions Manager I have been running the Water Polo ACT Summer and Winter Competitions on and off for the past 5 years. The summer season involves weekly games for its 7 grades and culminates in a finals series. The winter competition is run over 3-4 weekends during what is typically the Water Polo off-season.

Facilitate the operations of Canberra Water Polo Academy as well as being the Head Coach of CWPA High Performance programs.CWPA has a number of programs catering for beginner Water Polo players through to National Representatives. CWPA also facilitates the Water Polo ACT Junior Competitions and runs school based Water Polo Programs.
