Software Engineer on the Metric Insights Support Engineering team. Primarily administering frontline support to customers and internal colleagues across a variety of technical frameworks including app, OS, networks, databases, and more. Metric Insights is a web application and online portal for organizing, reporting, governing, distributing, and actioning on data from a variety of enterprise Business Intelligence vendors such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI, and many more. The Metric Insights application is deployed via Docker app containers and can be hosted on single-server, as well as orchestrated, multi-server environments. As a Support Engineer, I enjoy the unique opportunity of not only helping customers make the most of our product from a front-end user standpoint, but also providing guidance and troubleshooting issues with how the software is deployed and run on the backend. In partnering with everyday practitioners from different verticals in the BI space, I’m able to help shape the future of our product in procuring new, innovative solutions and enhancements to meet niche challenges faced by our customers.
