• Liaising with the client at PEP Head Office• Troubleshooting of equipment returned from different Pep stores• Receive stock and add the quantities to a stock inventory• Prepare Pep stores computer equipment (setup all hardware)• Configure a POS server, tills and other peripherals• Updating of the Pep POS software• Setup LAN’s for the Pep stores• Configure wireless GPRS routers (liaising with metacom for configuration)• Configuring and maintaining windows related issues, windows embedded which is used by Pep stores• Setup of the Vodacom MPEZA modems on all POS • Supervising and delegating work to the Junior prestage engineer• Delegating work to field technicians• Providing telephonic support on POS to field technicians• At times doing POS installations and troubleshooting onsite with field technicians at the different stores, installations and de-installations• Package all computer equipment and send it to the specific store• Liaising with different couriers companies• Booking of courier collections• Handle couriers queries (tracking of waybills)• Closing all calls logged and completing all work orders for the month and completing other paperwork
