2004-2006 Fairview Health Services Minneapolis, MNBusiness Analyst II - Imaging TeamCoordinate, manage, and participate in support of multiple software and hardware solutions for Radiology, Cardiology, Radiation Oncology departments for six hospitals and over thirty clinic locations. Act as a liaison between business partners and vendors. Advise on existing and new hardware acquisitions per RFP and system requirements documentation. Provide customer centric support with an emphasis on accuracy and speed of problem resolution. Provide technical support for IDX/GE ImageCast RIS and Stentor PACS radiology system.Participate in team to convert patient data and radiology images from McKesson RIS and Siemens PACS to ImageCast RIS and Stentor PACS.Coordinate with multiple vendors including Philips, Siemens, GE, Fuji, IMPAC, Stentor, Dictaphone/PowerScribe, Orion, Muse, CathSource, CVIS, MACLAB, etc.Manage support and testing for remote physician web portal. Support SSL VPN, Citrix, and Nortel VPN on home physician PCs.Coordinate proper anti-virus and Microsoft patch practices. Work with vendors to ensure FDA certified equipment meets security/patching best practice standards as outlined by Fairview IMS Server Infrastructure group.Work with outside consulting firms and vendors to ensure proper HIPAA and PHI procedures are being implemented. Monitor and maintain multiple interfaces between ImageCast PACS system and EPIC, Eclipsys, and PASS system. Resolve errors and coordinate unit testing of changes.Utilize enterprise monitoring to track hardware performance 40+ servers in a SAN based environment.Responsible for estimating storage space (SAN and Local Disk) required for projected growth and utilization.Track and resolve errors on servers. Work closely with vendors and Microsoft to resolve hardware/software issues on servers.Track issues via Remedy and work closely with vendors in weekly meetings to track top tier issues.
